Call for papers: Young Energy Researchers Conference 2022

The Young Energy Researchers Conference 2022 will take place on 2-3 March 2022 in Wels/Austria as part of the World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED, www.wsed.at) - a leading international conference on the energy transition and climate neutrality with more than 650 participants from over 60 countries each year.

The Young Energy Researchers Conference is dedicated to presenting the work and achievements of young researchers in the fields of 1) energy efficiency and 2) biomass. It offers an opportunity to interact with researchers and industry experts from all over the world and to build-up a peer network.

The 2 best contributions are honoured with the awards "Best Young Energy Efficiency Researcher" and "Best Young Biomass Researcher" and receive 1,000 Euro each as prize money.

Deadline Call for Papers: 12 October 2021

Young researchers (born after 1986) are invited to submit contributions by 12 October 2021. Submissions are welcome from all scientific fields (e.g. technology, engineering, economics, social sciences, architecture, law, arts). A high-level scientific committee selects papers for oral or poster presentation.

The conference organiser covers the costs of accommodation, meals, participation and local transport (3 conference days) for up to 60 selected participants.

The event is organised by the energy agency of Upper Austria and eceee member OÖ Energiesparverband.
