ZenH Balkan project Final Conference entitled “Towards nearly zero energy hospitals”

An International On-Line Conference entitled “Towards nearly zero-energy hospitals” is being organized by the Laboratory of Environmental and Energy Design of Buildings and Settlements, Department of Environmental Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace, on Friday 19th March 2021 at 10.00 a.m. Greek time, via ZOOM platform.

The conference is taking place on the occasion of the finalization of the project ZenH Balkan «Towards zero energy hospitals in the Balkan Region», within the framework of the Transnational Cooperation Programme Interreg V-B "Balkan - Mediterranean" and is co-funded by the European Union and national funds of the participating countries. The project is being coordinated by the Laboratory of Environmental and Energy Design of Buildings and Settlements, Department of Environmental Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace, with the scientific responsibility of Prof. Argiro Dimoudi, Director of the Laboratory.

More than 15 keynote speakers from the academic and research community as well as experts from the partner countries - Greece, Bulgaria, the Republic of North Macedonia, Albania and Cyprus - but also from Italy and Australia, will present and highlight topics related to the creation of zero or nearly zero-energy hospital buildings. The conference also aims to highlight the cases and the outcomes of the project ZenH Balkan in the partner countries.
