It is our great pleasure to invite you to share your perspective, experiences and knowledge in our event »Sustainable and competitive: the bioeconomic future of the EU«.

Climate change, biodiversity loss, resource scarcity, increasing global population: all pose huge challenges to humanity. The bioeconomy, through its technology, goods, and knowledge, provides solutions. It is our chance to make a significant contribution towards a more sustainable economy and way of life.

On September 20, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft invites you to discuss its Roadmap for the Future Development of the Circular Bioeconomy and these key questions:

What are the scientific and technological potentials and challenges of the bioeconomy till 2035?
Where will applied research promote a market ramp-up of the bioeconomy meeting ecological and socioeconomic needs?
Which kind of political framework conditions are needed to achieve this

Be inspired to work with us on solutions for the four application areas of bioeconomy: Nutrition, biomass material utilization, CO₂ value creation and socio-economic aspects of the bioeconomy.
